From passing a hurricane in Florida to rain and hail storms in the Grand Canyon, we hit a lot of bad weather on our US Road Trip. And, Utah was no exception. I ended up hiking in the rain in Bryce Canyon and feeling chilled to the bone. Was it worth it? Well, it’s amazing how much recovering in a hot tub will do wonders for minimizing painful memories :)
Aside from this dramatic storm we saw en route to Bryce Canyon, we also stopped in a tiny town so Stella could run into the post office. While she mailed something, I wandered off across the street because there was quite the collection of welded statues, including dinosaurs and animals. It’s amazing what random stuff you find in small towns.
Thank you to everyone who entered the giveaway last week for a chance to win a canvas print. Using a random number generator, the winner of the 8×10 canvas from Easy Canvas Prints is Ava Apollo. I also have 3- $10 gift cards to give away which go to Heather, Latonya R., and Sarah W. Congrats!
Love that first pic! I think storms make for such gorgeous pictures.
Out west, it seemed like there were more dramatic storm photo ops. I also think they’re very cool :)
I’m obsessed with your road trip! I’ve always wanted to drive through Utah.
Abby, You’re in Vegas- go! Grab a few friends and hit the road :) You would love it.
A real creative, this dinos. :-)
those are really random animal-like things there! the first picture is absolutely gorgeous, I hope to go to Utah one day.
How completely random! But kind of coll. Your road trip sounds fantastic. I just returned from a road trip around the western states – it was one of the best trips I’ve done.
I loved Utah. Can’t wait to visit again and get some camping done. Love your pictures!
