Montage Monday: Driving the Western Desert (Egypt)
I did an overnight trip in the Western Desert in Egypt in 2008. We drove 10 hours off-road in the desert and never passed another vehicle. We stopped for lunch in this shady spot to recover after getting stuck in the sand!

That looks great, must have been an interesting experience driving for 10hrs and not seeing any other traffic at all. Lucky to find a spot with some shade in the desert :)
That is so freaking cool!!!
Thanks Andi!
That’s one big rock! I hope the trouble in Cairo would be finished peacefully on my schedulled trip there.
Jane,
I hope so too! It’s such an interesting country, I’d hate for this to ruin tourism.
I love the composition and light & shade in this one!! Standing in a shop and said out loud “Oh I love this one!”
Haha Heather- Love it :)
That looks awesome, I love the many shades of colors in the rock!
Thanks Sofia!
Looks great, Laura. I really like the layers in that rock. The sky looks awesome!
